Groovin’ the Moo saw a mass migration of teens and twenty somethings to Townsville over the weekend – boys turned out in the skinny cut offs and muscle tees while the girls wore a rock uniform of singlets, denim shorts and ankle boots with plenty of spray tan to turn Townsville to Brownsville (I took Zoe and her bestie and was blown away by the crowds – truly impressive)….
Bulls Masters event at Paradise Palms has a great celeb line up of sporting greats – all in the good name of a charitable cause. Paradise Palms is the course of choice for visiting celebs including our home grown song bird, Kylie M and her model boyfie, Andreas.
Ladies @ Lilo last Wednesday drew a strong crowd of girls – eager to have fun amidst their own – with a ‘what women want’ selection of make up, hand bags, shoes, fashion and boys on the catwalk – torsos buff and bare. Sponsored by French champagne, Pommery – ooh, la, la. Next event will be 25 July – mark your diaries now girls….
We farewelled Eric Holowacz last night at Salthouse – off to Mildura to head up arts and culture at Mildura Rural City Council. Eric leaves today – followed by family at term’s end. Will be sadly missed. Arts Nexus hosted the drinks party that was attended by gathering of local arts and cultural leaders…
