RAPTOR ELECTRICAL TO TRANSFORM INDUSTRY

Landlords could save hundreds of dollars a year with a newly launched electrical service that charges an annual fee instead of callout and labour charges, Raptor Electrical Director Sue Godden said.

Port Douglas based Director, Ms Godden aims to transform the electrical industry with this innovative concept Raptor Electrical launches on Monday, 8  March 2009.

Raptor Electrical charges a one-off annual fee of $79 plus gst to landlords for a package which includes no callout fee, unlimited visits to a property during working hours with no labour charge for the first half hour on site, up to six months free servicing of smoke alarms, five per cent off materials and priority response times.

“Some electricians charge a callout fee just to turn up and a minimum of an hour’s labour even if the job only took 10 minutes,” Ms Godden said.

“This could cost between $80 and $160 for just one simple job and it is common to need an electrician at least twice a year taking the costs up even higher.

“Most jobs such as replacing a light or a switch take less than half an hour, so with Raptor Electrical the landlord will only be paying the $79 annual fee and the discounted cost of the materials supplied.”

To take advantage of the Raptor Electrical Service Plan the landlord has to be using Smoke Alarm Solutions for the servicing of their smoke alarms under an Annual Maintenance Plan.
