Pelicans in Paradise Open for Fun

PARADISE FOUND FOR FAMILIES

PARADISE PALMS RESORT & COUNTRY CLUB OFFICIALLY OPENS SWIMMING, ADVENTURE PARK AND MINI-GOLF

When it comes to family fun, Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club is in a world of its own.

The general manager of Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club, Craig Biber is delighted to announce the opening of “Pelicans in Paradise”; an all-new adventure playground, mini-golf and swimming facility that offers all the fun of the fair to guests and visitors of all ages.

Located between Paradise Palms’ new resort accommodation and main clubhouse, Pelicans in Paradise  is situated over 4,000sqm to offer a range of activities suitable for toddlers through to early teens. Recreation facilities include an 18-hole mini-golf course, 25 metre lap pool and an adventure playground with expansive lawned area for ball sports.

According to Mr Biber, “Pelicans in Paradise showcases creativity and flair in its design while integrating a range of brand new family oriented activities that blend seamlessly with existing facilities to present a comprehensive, world-class, leisure experience.

“The official opening of Pelicans in Paradise caps off a major redevelopment program undertaken over the past two years – primarily upgrading the clubhouse, introducing a new restaurant and a 96 room, 4.5 star boutique resort.”

Pelicans in Paradise is the newest kid on the parent company, HS Vision Group’s portfolio; its introduction effectively expands the company’s very successful child-care development model that includes Pelicans in the Park day care centres throughout the far north.

“The adventure playground has to be seen to be believed…or enjoyed ….yet, toddlers through to pre-teen 12 year olds are destined to be well amused with three Queenslander style cubby houses, spider ropes courses and climbing frames, a bouncy jumping mat, swings and more,” he said.

Resort guests enjoy unlimited use of the adventure playground and lap pool – free of charge – with a $10 Adults and $ 8 children charge per day for unlimited use of mini-golf.

For visitors to Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club, daily entry fees apply to all facilities within Pelicans in Paradise – however, a number of valued-added leisure packages are available providing unlimited ‘day’ use of some or all facilities.  Child, adult and family rates are available and start from just $2 per child for use of the playground (and complimentary lap pool or vice versa).
