RYDGES GLADSTONE RAISES THE BAR FOR CBD DINING

CBD Restaurant & Bar is the new name for affordable dining day or night in the heart of Gladstone city.

Located on the ground floor of Rydges Gladstone, the revamped restaurant has a new menu to match its funky modern décor, but diners will enjoy the same low prices of the former Brass Palm Restaurant & Bar.

Opening specials include weekday lunches between 12pm and 2pm for only $15 per person, or $29 for two. As well as soup, salad and crusty bread, there’s tempura barramundi, lemon pepper squid or a steak, mushroom and béarnaise sauce open sandwich included in the wide array of dishes.

On Sundays, enjoy a roast lunch for only $19.95 or get your weekend started on Friday night with the Funky Friday $5 basic beers and $10 cocktails at 5-6pm.

For a leisurely lunch or delicious end to the day in a relaxing atmosphere, the all-day dining menu has a mouth-watering array of options. Steak lovers have five different choices from a 300g rump for $23.50 to the top of the range Tasmanian Grim 300g rib fillet for $36.50.

Vegetarians won’t be the only ones selecting the Mille Feuille of Char Grilled Marinated Vegetables with Bocconcini and Truffle Oil for $18.50, while seafood lovers will be in heaven with the Seafood Basket mix of crumbed, battered, grilled and wok-fried seafood with fries and salad.
